Your membership savings account establishes your membership in the credit union when you maintain the minimum balance of $10. This account provides complete safety and convenience. Dividends are declared and paid monthly on the average daily balance. Your account number serves as your primary member number.
You may open additional savings accounts to help save for Christmas, taxes, vacation or whatever you need.
For members who have larger savings balances but want to keep their funds liquid, Catholic United Financial CU now offers a Money Market Savings Account.Dividends are paid monthly on the daily balance.
The Coverdell Education Savings Account (formerly the Education IRA) is a tax-deferred account to encourage taxpayers to save for educational expenses. When used for qualified expenses, the earnings on this account are tax-free.
